Q: What is CBD?

A: CBD stands for Cannabidiol. It is one of the most prevalent cannabinoids found in the Cannabis plant. Cannabinoids are thought to have medicinal value for pain, anxiety, insomnia and a multitude of other conditions.

Q: How is the CBD extracted?

A: All of the companies that we distribute for use CO2 extraction.

Q: Will I fail a drug test?

A: It is not likely that you will fail a drug test because the THC content in our products is next to nothing. However, because it does contain trace amounts of THC, you should be aware that it IS possible that you could fail the a drug test as it does build up on your fat cells over time.

Q: Is Hemp Oil the same as Hemp Extract?

A: Hemp Oil is extracted from just the seed of the plant. The seed doesn't contain the same amount of cannabinoids (CBD, THC, etc.). Though Hemp Oil is a great and healthy supplement it does not provide the same medicinal properties as Hemp Extract which is whole plant extract.

Q: What's the difference between Full-Spectrum and THC Free?

A: Our Full-Spectrum products are made from whole plant extracts which do contain trace amounts of THC. THC is the psychoactive cannabinoid that gets you high. THC Free products are not whole plant. The chemists have found a way to isolate the CBD molecule and extract it by itself without the other cannabinoids. THC Free products are frequently purchased by people who are subject to drug testing.

Q: Will it get me high?

A: Because the amount of THC is so low, there is little chance that you can get high from these products.

Q: What is the recommended dosage amount?

A: Each product lists a dosage amount, depending on the product. Start with one dose (one ml, one gelcap, one gummy, etc.) and go from there. When taking the product orally, allow 1-2 hrs for it to begin to work. You can work your way up in dosing, as needed.

Q: What is a COA and why is it important to me?

A: COA stands for Certificate of Analysis. Every reputable Hemp Extract company should be able to provide this for you. After the cannabinoids are extracted from the plant and ready to be bottled, a third party laboratory tests the contents and purity of the oil to make sure that it is safe for consumption and meets federal and state guidelines. The amount of CBD, THC and other cannabinoids is measured and the oil is tested for heavy metals and pestasides, as well.
